Although the name of the Bichon Frise is not well known, the dog is
popular and instantly recognizable within the toy group. The
Bichon Frise is very small, white and similar to a Maltese with roots
in France as its name implies. The Bichon Frise were intended
to be lap dogs for royalty in France and were bred as such.
