The Maltese Dog
The Maltese is an adorable white toy dog with long, thin hair that is
often kept in bows to keep tangling to a minimum. Sometimes
the Maltese's coat is kept short but show dogs will almost always sport
the long coat that is unique to their breed. At times, if the
coat is long enough, it will appear that the Maltese is floating rather
than running with its feet. It is, however, rather curious
that in spite of the long hair that the Maltese dog has, it is
considered a "hypoallergenic" dog due to the fact that many people that
are severely allergic to dogs will most likely not be allergic to the
Maltese.

small toy dogs, can give the eyes a sad, tired, or old look.

of a Maltese must keep the eyes clean with a damp cloth or paper towel
several times a day.
